On February 2, 2016 the project “Liguria, proposal for a development project nearly zero emissions” has been presented in Rome. WWF commissioned this project to ENEA in order to study the opportunity to switch toward a “system” based on technologies able to reduce green-house gases and, consequently, the impact on climate change – as stated by the recent COP21 and European agreements – and a “system” that promotes the energy efficiency, support advancements and innovation of the production systems and can increase employment levels, basing on the principles of a circular economy. The following video was created ad-hoc and shows some interesting and important innovative projects realized in Liguria, among which the Smart Polygeneration Microgrid in the Savona Campus, presented by dott. Ing. Stefano Bracco, researcher at University of Genoa.
